The Boardroom Experience
The Challenge
Your board brings together accomplished leaders with valuable expertise, diverse perspectives, and a shared responsibility for organizational success. Yet even exceptional boards can struggle to move beyond routine oversight toward meaningful strategic leadership. Perhaps governance responsibilities need clarification, strategic priorities are competing for attention, difficult conversations remain unresolved, or board members aren't fully leveraging their collective expertise. Sometimes the challenge isn't a lack of commitment. It's the absence of dedicated space to think critically, engage candidly, and align around what matters most. Your board doesn't need another presentation. It needs an experience that strengthens how its members think together, make decisions, exercise influence, and fulfill their collective responsibility.
What T&P Will Do
We'll design and facilitate a customized, single-day board leadership experience that brings your governing or advisory body together for focused strategic dialogue, collaborative problem-solving, and actionable governance planning. Beginning with a preliminary assessment of your board's priorities, we'll develop an interactive experience tailored to your organization's governance structure, strategic objectives, and leadership challenges. Drawing on governance best practices, organizational systems thinking, group dynamics, and strategic decision-making frameworks, we'll guide participants through facilitated discussions, practical exercises, and structured opportunities to examine real organizational priorities. Depending on your needs, the experience may explore governance effectiveness, strategic oversight, board-management relationships, decision-making authority, organizational accountability, stakeholder engagement, or navigating institutional change. Our goal is to help your board move beyond discussion toward stronger alignment, shared accountability, and meaningful organizational action.

Proposed Timeline & Delivery
One full-day facilitated experience, proposed to be delivered in person, with planning and preparation occurring over the 6–8 weeks preceding the engagement. We'll work together to establish a mutually agreeable schedule and delivery format that reflects your board's priorities, availability, and organizational needs. Travel, lodging, and related expenses for in-person delivery will be reimbursed separately from the engagement fee. The base engagement accommodates up to 12 board members. For larger boards, additional interviews and preparation are available at $250 per additional member, up to a maximum of 20 participants. Boards exceeding 20 members may request a tailored engagement.
